This complete kitchen and half bath remodel uses all high quality products to ensure years of low maintenience living. The solid wood cherry cabinetry, natural granite countertops, ceramic tile flooring and backsplashes, along with stainless steel appliances will last for years and years while providing a very rich look. We made use of different types of lighting to not only brighten up the room but to accent the granite countertops and tile backsplash.
Recessed canister lights light up the work area while under cabinet lights highlight the granite tops. The pendant fixtures over the center island do a great job as well. Lots of deep storage wide drawers were used to add easy access to pots, pans, bowls, lids, etc. We also made use of a vertical tray storage cabinet, a pullout waste can, a "super" lazy susan corner base and a tilt out tray at the sink. Even though this was a large, complete remodel going into the breakfast room, laundry room, half bath and included all painting work our three highly qualified installers were able to completely finish in only 12 days.
Natural red oak cabinetry and laminate countertops are used here to show how much pizzazz can be added to more moderately priced products.
